Dorothy Mortensen

Our treasured mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014. Dorothy was set free to return to her Heavenly Father. Dorothy was always sweet, kind natured and loved her family. Dorothy was devoted to the LDS Church and loved playing bingo. She was known to several of her friends and family as the “timekeeper”. Dorothy was born July 6, 1950 to Helen Kerekes. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Connie (Larry) Williams and Bonnie (Bo) Brown; her grandchildren, Anthony Clark, William Brown, Alisha Thackeray, Justina (Brian Ira) Crickmore, Zachary (Victoria) Williams and Sarah Williams; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Tyden and Nevaeh. Preceded in death by her mother Helen Mortensen, her daughter Kathryn Kay and her grandson-in-law Bret Thackeray. Deseret Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The memorial service will be held at Millcreek Health Center, 3520 Highland Drive, Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 2:00pm.
