Doris Harger

April 21, 1934 — May 13, 2017

Doris Mellor Harger, 83 of Sandy Utah, passed away on May 13, 2017 with her family by her side. Her love for her family and friends was endless and brings us comfort in her passing. Doris Harger was the daughter of late John and Faye Mellor. Doris was the wife of Sam Harger and the loving mother of Kenneth, Bradley and Leonard. Doris graduated from Cypress High School and retired from Merit Medical.
Doris found boundless joy in her family, theater and traveling to different places.
Doris is survived by her loving son Leonard, 1 brother and 2 sisters, grandchildren David, Sylvia, Ian, Lacee and Breanna and 7+ great grandchildren.  Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Sam, two sons Kenneth and Bradley, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Special thanks to Auedery Frisbie for her love, care and understanding with her great grandmother in her last months of life.
There will be a viewing at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) Cottonwood Heights, Utah on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 17, 2017 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent 7th Ward, 949 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Interment to follow services at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
