Donna Sorensen

Donna was born in Denver, Colorado to Louis W. and Thelma T. Sorensen. She was a graduate of East High School in 1957. She then served her country in the US Air Force from 1957 – 1960. Donna received her degree in Education from the University of Utah, and taught school and later retired from the Jordan School District. She enjoyed athletics, excelling in softball and played for the Shamrocks. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and belonged to several ladies golf and bowling leagues. Survived by her brother, Louis G. (Barbara) Sorensen; nephew, Michael (Teresa) Sorensen and niece, Lisa Capps; great-nieces and nephews, and very dear friends, Noella and Jim Tate.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. On-line condolences at www.redwoodmortuary.com.
