Our loving mother passed away on February 1, 2015. She was born on September 5, 1928, in Bountiful, Utah to Roy and Lottie Ballard. She married Grant L. Rasmussen on March 17, 1950, in SLC, UT. She worked as a nurse at LDS and Cottonwood Hospitals for many years. She loved gardening, her cats, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Derrell (Sandy), Renae, JoAnn, Jeneane (Jeff) and Paula; two sisters, Verna and Nona; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine Street, Murray. A viewing will be held on Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm at the Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray. Online condolences may be shared at www.murraymemorial.com.
