Donald Mitchell

Donald Ray Mitchell, age 76, died on Nov. 12, 2013 at his home in West Jordan. Born Dec. 27, 1936 in Pleasant Grove, UT to Joseph T. and Secried Tomlinson Mitchell. Married Ruth McDonald in 1961, later divorced. Married Janice Sisam on May 25, 1979. Member of the LDS Church. Retired in 1998 from Kennecott as a truck haulage driver. Survived by sons Donald Keith (Debbie), Brent Dean, Marc Allen (Joanne), daughter Diann (Roger) Folkersen; stepchildren Byron Sisam and Sherri (Ryan) Brown; 15 grandchildren; brothers LeRoy and Vone. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Alfred, Lawrence, Joseph, Walter and sisters Carolyn McIntyre and Margaret Beardall. Funeral services and burial will be conducted Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. and again on Monday one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Many thanks to Solstice Hospice for their care of Don.
