Donald Giles Hall
1923-2015
Our beloved father and grandfather, Donald Giles Hall, age 91, passed away April 29, 2015. Born July 1, 1923 in Bountiful, Utah to George and Minnie Giles Hall. Married Wanda Clara Bramble in the Salt Lake Temple, February 8, 1945. She preceded him in death in January 9, 1994. He then married Elaine Edgington January 17, 1995. She too precedes him in death. Dad served proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II as an occupation soldier, serving on the island of Japan. He owned and operated the Hall TV Service for 50 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in numerous callings. Don had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Don is survived by his children, Mike (Jackie), Marsha Christofferson, Cori (Rick) Facer, Roger and Gary (Christina) Hall; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two wives, parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Sunday evening and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Interment to follow.
