Donald Frame

June 6, 1930 — November 2, 2017

Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Donald Dick Frame, Jr, passed away November 2, 2017. Don was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, June 6, 1930 to Donald Dick Frame and Dolly Balls. He married his sweetheart, Melba V. Germain on September 23, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple.
As an active member of the LDS Church he served in many callings including bishop. Don served on the board of directors of two city Chambers of Commerce and actively participated in civic and historical preservation activities of his beloved hometown, Taylorsville.
Don loved sports, especially baseball and softball. He was an avid fisherman, frequently bragging about catching more fish than anybody could ever find in his creel. His passionate hobby for many years was raising and exhibiting chickens in local fairs and shows. Don always had a story or joke to tell and was loved by many.
Don is survived by his children, David (Lisa) of Ephraim, Linda (Jay) Rasmussen of South Jordan, and Christine (Robert) Wardle of Logan; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Heartfelt thanks to Harmony Hospice and to granddaughter Jasey Wardle who served Don during his brief illness.
