Dona LeIsle Rasmussen Bullock passed away August 16, 2012 from heart failure, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 13, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lorin Niels Rasmussen and Anna LeIsle Phillips Rasmussen. She met Lynn Bullock while they were both attending South High School and after her graduation, married him in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced. She was a homemaker, mother and she worked for years sewing draperies in her home. In later years she went into sales, selling cars, lighting, and most recently Avon products. Dona loved her family. She was involved in family history and preserving the stories of her progenitors. Family reunions and decorating graves on Memorial Day were very important to her. Music was a big part of her life, she was always singing or humming a tune and she performed many times in Road Shows and in various church services. She was an avid animal lover, rescuing strays of all kinds throughout her life. She is survived by her children, Linda (Richard) Hackett, Brad (Patty), Julie (Jeff) Arrington, Jeff (Cindy) and Todd (Trish), sister, Virginia Zobrist, brother, Neil (Sally) Rasmussen, 17 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Raymond Phillip Rasmussen, sister, Marilyn Graehl, son, Donald Bullock and by two grandchildren, Jesse Arrington and Christina Bullock.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at 12:00 pm at the LDS Chapel on 2400 East Alta Canyon Drive, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 am before the funeral service and on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah from 6:00-8:00 pm.
