Don Ray married his eternal companion, LaRene Christensen, on September 8, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions, including Home Teacher and Boy Scout Master, where he led 14 boys to become Eagle Scouts including his 2 sons.
He is survived by his wife; LaRene, two sons; Brad (Chris) Evans and Doug Evans, grandchildren; Sarah, Michael, Candice, and Alexis, great grandchildren; Payton, Nate, Lizzie and Jackson, Sisters; Berna Dee Reid, Joene Martin and Vicki (Judd) Coon.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Stanley Emmett and Donna Carol Clegg Evans and siblings; Emmett and Janae.
Open House viewing will be from 11:00AM to 12:45PM at The Parleys 4th Ward LDS building located at 1870 E Parleys Canyon Blvd, SLC, UT.  Social distancing and masks required.
Due to Covid-19 Funeral Service occupancy is limited.  The service will be live streamed at https://youtu.be/0qKePZP-Jjg
Open Graveside Dedication: 2:45PM at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 E Bengal Blvd (7800 S), Cottonwood Heights, UT.  Lunch will be served back at the church after the dedication.
