Pat was born May 14, 1941 in Spring Canyon, Utah to Muriel Marie and Albert Leon Stark. He reunited with his wife & family who passed before him November 28, 2021.
He worked & retired from Smiths Food & Drug. He loved to dance & most knew him as the best dancer in town. Him & his wife Glenda loved dancing through life & winning competitions together. He married Glenda C. Archibald on September 5, 1962 in Elko, Nevada & stayed married for 44 years before her sudden passing on May 11, 2007. Together, they had 4 children; Shelli, Tara, as well as the twins Nicole & Ryan. He later became a Grandpa & Great Grandpa as well, although we always considered him a “Great” Grandpa.
Grandpa Pat always had a smile, a snack to share & a story to tell. If you needed him, he’d slick back his hair & show up. He loved older cars – classic & hot rods, early rock & roll, rhythm & blues, Utah Jazz & was a die hard Denver Broncos fan until the very end.
He was always there to cheer on his kids & grandkids in all of their events. He was an avid bowler, spending most of his free time at Bonwood Bowl. Whether he was bowling, sitting in the bar drinking coffee, watching sports, or visiting & BS’ing with the friends he made, you could always find him there. If you were looking for Pat, all you had to do was call the Bonwood, “his office”.
He is Survived by his Brother Terry (Patricia), Daughter Tara, Daughter Nicole, Son Ryan, Grandkids, Great Grandkids & many other loved ones.
Pat is Preceded in death by his Parents Albert & Muriel, Sister Merlene, Brothers Gilbert, Richard & Albert, Wife Glenda, Daughter Shelli & Son in law Bryce (Tara).
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7th 2021. There will be a brief viewing & gathering held at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery at 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah at 11:00 AM followed by a private family graveside service at the Farmington City Cemetery, 500 S 200 E in Farmington, Utah at 1:00 PM.
