Diane Merrill Gremlich, age 60, died unexpectedly from cardiac arrest, while at home in Kingman, AZ, on December 26, 2016. She was born June 10, 1956 in Salt Lake City, UT to Don and Joan Merrill. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in Murray, UT. She studied chemistry at the University of Utah and completed an LDS Mission in Hamburg, Germany. After her mission, she married her college sweetheart Randy on September 4, 1979. She and Randy went on to have eight children, and raising them brought her great joy. She made serving others in any situation her first priority. She made it a prime concern to connect with her ancestors through genealogical research. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she found strength in worshipping and working in the temple and in interacting with other women in Relief Society. She was a lifelong learner and applied what she learned in improving the lives of those around her. Diane and Randy raised their family in many places, with the majority of that time spent in Las Vegas, NV. Her final years were spent in Kingman, AZ.
Diane is survived by her husband Randall Gremlich; her mother Joan Merrill; her siblings Leslie Merrill Arbuckle, Jolene Merrill, Shauna (Francis) Longstaff, Carolyn (Joel) Bishop, Ruth Merrill, David (Susan) Merrill, and Russell (Nancy) Merrill; her children Erick (Melan) Gremlich, Emily (Paul) Fotheringham, Annalise (Rychen) Jones, Laura (Jon) Nyman, Peter Gremlich, Joseph (Averi) Gremlich, Andrew Gremlich, and Evan Gremlich; and by 12 grandchildren.
