Diane Lynn Draper
“Lived To Laugh”
Our beloved mother and sister passed away tragically from heart trauma in the wee hours of Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born March 3, 1948 in Virginia to Eugene and Eileen Roskos Draper. Diane enjoyed being an Air Force brat growing up because it gave her the opportunity to see many places with her family. She loved the ocean and its serenity. Diane had a major sweet tooth for all things chocolate. She loved taking short trips to Wendover, especially for her birthday. Going to Las Vegas one more time was on her bucket list. We know that she will visit the ocean and Las Vegas one last time. Diane had a soft heart towards all animals, especially her own cats and dogs. She was a big fan of Elvis. Diane had a collection of memorabilia and fond memories of a trip to Vegas where she saw the next best thing.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Draper; three sisters, Darlene O’Dell, Sandy (Les) Morrill and LuJean Draper and one brother, Tom Draper. Diane had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Please share online condolences at www.redwoodmortuary.com.
We know now that she is in a better place with her parents and extended family. In lieu of flowers our family would appreciate donations to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary or the Humane Society of Utah.
