In Loving Memory of Diane Andrus July 27, 1958 – April 27, 2025

Diane Andrus passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on July 27, 1958, In Midvale, Utah the Daughter of parents Jack Arnold Phillips and Donna Rae Fawson Phillips.

She was the mother of seven children: Jared (Lauri); Shane (Elysha); Cassie Gordon (Jared); Cody (Meaghan); Chelsea; Morgan Nelson (Mark); and Tyson.

Diane’s life, like many, was a mixture of joys and struggles. In her earlier years, she devoted herself to raising her children and providing for their needs. Though the path of motherhood became more complicated in later years, her children and grandchildren remain a vital part of the legacy she leaves behind.

She was a woman with strength and spirit, and her presence shaped the lives of those who knew her. While relationships may have changed with time, the connection between a mother and her children remains deeply rooted and enduring.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren—some of whom she never had the chance to know, but who are nevertheless part of her story.

Her life was imperfect, as all lives are, but it was real, and it mattered.

Diane is also survived by her siblings Jack A. Phillips Jr (Jean); Debbie Alldredge (Kay); Lorraine Winegar (Joel); Brenda McLean (Dale); Renee Langford (Ken); Gordon W. Phillips (Michelle); Charlyne Withers (Alan) She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 9th at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary 4670 South Highland Dr. Holladay, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday May 8th from 6-8 p.m. as well as 1 hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Memorial Holladay Cemetery 4900 S. Memory Lane. Holladay, Utah.

The family would like to thank the tireless efforts of the staff at University of Utah hospital for the care given to our Mother over the last few months.
