Diana Sartori

Diane Sartori, one of God’s sweetest creations, released her earthly Spirit on November 24, 2016 while surrounded by her loving family at her cherished home in Riverton, Utah. She was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Spence, her father John Kovach, her son Ronald Christopher Sartori and her Kovach and Spence grandparents.
Diane is survived by her husband Ronald Sartori, her son Scott Sartori (wife Robin), her daughter Heather Hanson (husband Danny Hanson) granddaughter Devon Sartori, granddaughter Ginger Hanson, grandson Wyatt Sartori, granddaughter Jose Sartori, her earthly mother Ann Edgar (Granny Anny), brother John Kovach (wife June), sister Mary Ann Kershisnik, Lynn Christensen, brother Mike Kovach (wife Sandra) and brother Knute Kovach (wife Beth).
Diane was also survived by Abby, Bella, Woopee and Sonny-Nelson her beloved dogs and cats.
Diane was born a coal miner’s daughter on May 5, 1942 to Ellen Spence and John Kovach in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1960. Upon her graduation she came to Salt Lake City to attend Darrell’s Beauty College.
While attending school, Diane and Ron Sartori met one another working at Albertson’s Grocery Store on North Temple and 7th West in Salt Lake City. They fell in love and were married on October 26th 1963. Their marriage has lasted for over 53 years. They had three children Scott, Christopher and Heather.
Diane seemed to have a special gift for selling. She sold Modeling Contracts, Cars and Real Estate. Diane also established and ran her own pre-school for ten years. It seems anyone who bought anything from Diane received a special bonus… A friend for life.
Her family loved her more than were words can express and hope her reunion with her mom, her dad and her son Chris is a beautiful and joyous occasion.
There will be a viewing Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Memorial Redwood Estates (6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah) from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah following the services.
