Devon Utter

November 13, 1996 — November 15, 2019

Devon Winton Utter born November 13 1996 to his loving parents, Kurt Winton Utter and Kathryn Elizabeth Fennemore Utter. Cove Clyde Utter was the proud younger brother of Devon. He passed away November 15, 2019.
Devon was an avid outdoorsman; Devon enjoyed the great outdoors and everything that came with it. His hobbies included hunting, archery, fishing, snowmobiling, and camping. He enjoyed being the head cook of his beloved camp chef, cooking meals for friends and family. His specialty was bacon. He was amazing at everything he did. One might even say he was a master archer, friends witnessed Devon hit a bullseye from 130 yards away with his bow. He knew the roads of soapstone like the back of his hand and would take anyone willing to ride on his razor to the most beautiful spots. Devon graduated from Alta High School in 2015. He was employed by Salt Lake County in 2015, where he made many friends and earned the nickname “Guns”.
Devon lived life to the fullest with the love of his life Sarah Nicholas. He treated her like a princess and made her feel like the most beautiful lady. Never failing to show his love. He enjoyed spending time with his little brother Cove. Even though they were polar opposites, those boys shared a bond like no other. Nothing meant more to Ol’ Dev than friends and family. He was constantly teaching and showing us all so much about his exciting and fun world. If you knew Devon, he wasn’t a hard person to love, always so kind and giving to all. To know this cowboy was to love him. His memory will forever live on in all of our hearts.
Devon is preceded in death by his grandpa Robert Winton Utter and Roger Ted Fennemore. He is survived by dad Kurt Utter, mom Kathryn Utter, brother Cove Utter, grandma Sharon Utter, grandma Bette Wight, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course, his love Sarah.
