Denver Thomas Carter

Denver was born August 21,1928 the second son of Rosa Watson Carter and Asa Carter. He passed away October 16, 2021.
Denver’s childhood was spent in Kentucky and at an early age he left home to find his place in the world working on river boats, stringing lines for the R.E.A. At 17 years he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. A year of which was serving in China. On discharge he became a Journeyman Mechanic which brought him to Kansas City where he met and married Nancy Hoover Nov 1, 1952.
After receiving a degree in Civil Engineering he and Nancy lived in many different locations in the U.S, where he pursued his career and raised their family.
They both enjoyed traveling in his career and abroad. Retiring in Utah.
Denver is survived by wife Nancy, sons Steven [Terri], David, Robert and Granddaughter Meranda. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Aubrey and son Douglas.
