Dennis L. Holt

Dennis “Uncle Barney” passed away peacefully after a long battle of heart disease.  He was always known to be a strong, hardworking man.  He proudly retired from the City and Smith’s after many years of service. He was a man to look up to.  A great example to us all.  Fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family were some of the things he enjoyed the most.  Dad will be greatly missed now and always.  Survived by his children and grandchildren and preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, along with many relatives.  Services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017, 11 AM with a viewing two hours prior at Memorial Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 275 U Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
