Dennis “Denny” Dale Mcgrath

Dennis Dale McGrath, age 87, passed away June 10, 2020 in Holladay, UT. He was born on July 15, 1932 to William and Annie McGrath. He married Marjorie J. Smith and later divorced. Denny attended West high school. He served as a Ham radio operator in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Denny worked for over 25 years for Kennecott and later retired from the company. Denny enjoyed watching sports; he was an avid University of Utah fan. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping. Denny loved music; this is something he inherited from his mother. He was Johnny Mathis’s number one fan. Most of all, Denny loved his family. His family would like to thank Dave and Glenda, Evans and family, Veterans Administration in SLC, and Highland care center.
He is survived by his children Brenda Rasmussen, Darla (Boyd) Carter, Allen McGrath, Anita McGrath, Dale (Tawnya) McGrath, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Boyd and Gary, and his lifelong friend and sweet heart Ida Rodberg.
