Denise passed away next to her Husband, Kent Nordahl, on Wednesday May 11, 2022 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on June 30, 1958 in Lynwood, California to Buddy Roy Shelly and Wanda Lee Shafer. She married Kent Nordahl on September 8, 2001. Denise loved the outdoors, spending summers camping, hunting and fishing with family. Even when her health was failing, she could be found in the mountains with her husband, Kent, during deer hunting season.
Denise was devoted to her family; Providing unconditional love and support. She was the embodiment of family in every sense of love. She is survived by her husband, Kent Nordahl. Her children, Chad Rissman, Danio Hernandez, Amber Shapiro, Andrew Hernandez, Suzie Glover-Garman, Nicole Bianchi, Jeremy Nordahl, Travis Nordahl and Derek Maxwell. As well as 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Her mother Wanda and Siblings Sandy, Debbie, Marc, Kirk, Robert and Buddy.
She is preceded in death by her father Buddy Roy Shelly.
