Deloss Dennison

DeLoss Dennison, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away January 28, 2018.
DeLoss was born July 18, 1929 to William Rasmus and Mary Reva Spencer Denison in Gypsum, Colorado. He married his sweetheart Shirley Holman February 3, 1956. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Manti temple February 2, 1957.
DeLoss grew up in Manti, Utah, graduated from Manti High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Samuel N. Moore 747 during the Korean War. DeLoss worked 39 years for Mountain Bell phone company.
DeLoss loved the Lord and served diligently in the LDS Church. He served as a Welfare missionary with his wife Shirley and as a stake missionary. DeLoss was an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple for 18 years. His greatest joy was his wife Shirley, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, children David (Sherrie), John (Sheri), Marian (Jeffrey) McFarlane, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Bellview Ward Chapel, 1050 Galena Drive, Sandy, UT. Viewings: Friday, February 2, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm, Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights, UT and again prior to memorial service from 10:00-10:45 am.
