Della Andrews

May 4, 1921 — April 13, 2015

Our sweet mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away April 13, 2015. She was born in Granger, Utah to Abraham Alexander Todd and Victoria Regina Rhindfleisch where she grew up on a farm. She spent many hours thinning beets and trapping gophers with the help of the family dog Shep. She was a beautiful woman and just as beautiful inside. She was born with a sweet spirit and a tender heart. She was kind to everyone she knew very generous and willing to help those in need. She married Richard Andrews on July 12th, 1940, and their marriage was later solemnized in the SL. Temple. They had two sons Richard and Ron whom she loved very much, and she appreciated all that they did for her. When her grandchildren were young, she had a fun time dressing them up and playing with them; they were the joy of her life. She loved animals, mostly her poodles, and she made frequent trips to the zoo with her sons. She was a very good seamstress and made a lot her own dresses. She liked to go “goofing” as she called it, and it was really shopping for a bargain. She was a talented artist. She called herself an amateur photographer; she loved to take pictures. She loved to dance and was still going square dancing in her 80's. She had a testimony of the gospel and loved to go to church every Sunday no matter how hard it was for her. She loved her family very much and she will be missed by all those than knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Eugene, Minnetta, Dorothy, LaVelle and Faye. She is survived by her brother Ralph Todd, sons, Richard (Connie) and Ronald (Karen), grandchildren, Lisa (Gary) and Justin (Charity), 2 GG children David & Sophia and their mother Christina Andrews-Burton (Scott Burton)and 4 step GG Children, Colman, Chandler, Mae, & Corben, and many nieces and nephews.
