The light in our hearts has dimmed today. On November 2, 2016 our father, son, brother and grandfather left us peacefully in his sleep. Dad was our rock; he was the greatest man we ever knew. He always had a story to tell that would keep you laughing for days.
Dell was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Dell R. Peck Sr. and Rose Bruhel. Dad is survived by his 6 children Greg (Lynda), Pam (Steve), Randy (Christine), Jima (Jim), Patches (Chad), Chant (Mandie), and brother Jay Peck. Dad has 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his special friend Maxine Littleford.
Dad is preceded in death by our mother Bette Marie Peck, his second wife Vicki Cox Peck, son Shane B. Peck, his mother and father, sister Katherine Romijn, brothers Larry, Dick and Roy.
The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice for their support and caring during this time. Dad was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude’s or Intermountain Homecare and Hospice.
As per Dell’s wishes there will be a graveside service for him held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 7, 2016 at Memorial Redwood 6500 S Redwood Rd West Jordan, UT. Friends and family may gather from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the services for him at Memorial Redwood. www.memorialutah.com
