Delila M Leavitt

Delila M Leavitt passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on April 18, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 17, 1932 in Afton, Wyoming to Lenord and Avilida Anglesey. Delila married the love her of life, Darril L Leavitt on October 14, 1950.
Delila loved to work in flower beds and loved to go camping, fishing, and was a great cook! And we all loved her homemade bread! She was a great mother and took good care of her family. Throughout her life, Delila had many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and loved being a member.
Delila is survived by her children: Gene L Leavitt, Dan A Leavitt, Cheryl Ann Galer, Sandra Martin, and Jim Leavitt. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, and son Chris K Leavitt.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123 with a viewing one hour prior inside of the building.
Delila will be missed by all who knew her.
