Delton (Del) Raymond Clark, 83, of Herriman, UT, passed away on February 6, 2020.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd, West Jordan UT 84123. Visitation at 10am.
Delton was born in Afton, Wyoming on May 25, 1936 and raised on the family farm outside of Ashton, Idaho in Squirrel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid golfer. He rose through the ranks during his 38 years at Sysco Intermountain Foods, eventually earning the title of VP of Operations and being honored in the global corporations Hall of fame.
He was married to Nita for 44y, living in Sandy, UT. They spent time camping and fishing as a family, traveling to golf tournaments around the country and drives to the Idaho farm in Ashton.
Del was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and led his stake in family history extraction work and enjoyed temple work for many years.
He is survived by his wife Annetta Hepler, seven children: Judy Gravis, Dave McPherron, Del Clark, Sherry Aldous, Denise Sargent, Kenna Clark and Steve Clark, 27 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and two brothers and four sisters.
He is preceded in death by two daughters Debbie Ricks and JaNae Evans, son, Jeff McPherron, grandson Jeremy Abegglen and a brother, Dale Clark.
