Debra Nguyen

 
 
Debra Laura Nguyen passed away at the age of 64 on Thursday June 10th,2021 in Salt Lake City. She was born January 13, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Leon Huish Dawes and Ruth Rindlisbacher. She was the one of 6 children Steven,Vicky,Richard,Peggy and Glen. She grew up in Murray and Kearns and graduated from Kearns High School. Debra loved being out in nature with her dogs, fishing and went on many trips with her family and friends and collected many postcards of her travels. Debra went on to marry the love of her life Lam V. Nguyen on November 07, 1981. They had two children Linda(Mika) and Cody. She   was loved by all her neighbors and anyone she talked to. She always was taking pictures and would say “you never know when you’ll see them again” 
She is survived by her husband Lam V. Nguyen, daughter Linda (Dajuan Pike), son Cody Nguyen, beloved dog Tyson, grandchildren Andreas, Thalia, Aireanna and Lyric and many Aunts and Uncles and Nieces and Nephews
The Family would like to send a Special Thank You to The LDS ICU and ER nurses and Doctors for taking such special care of Debra.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Ruth, her brother Steven and two sisters Vickie and Peggy.
 A funeral service to honor Debra will be held on June 17, 2021 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary,6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah. A public viewing will take place that same day 2 hours prior to that service starting at Noon.
