Debra Ellen (Peck) Howarth

September 18, 1954 — April 24, 2020

Deb was born on September 18, 1954 in Belmond Iowa, her mother always reminded her that it was a very hot day. She passed away on April 24, 2020 in North Salt Lake Utah in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was the middle child of six.
Deb’s first vehicle was a Kawasaki 100 motorcycle witch she drove it back and forth while working at bountiful drug she always referred to it as bountiful drag. After high school she joined the Salt Lake City Police dispatch and she worked her way up as supervisor. During this time, she married David Howarth on Valentine’s day 1983. After ten years of working for Salt Lake City Police she gave up working so she could stay home with her daughter, the love of her life.
Later on, Deb went to work for Davis County School District where she worked in the lunchroom and all the kids loved her. She always wore cool earrings that the kids always got a kick out of. She continued working and later retired after working there for twenty years.
Deb embroidered all her life until her arthritis got so bad that she could not do it anymore. She also loved etching, collecting crystals and drying flowers. Anyone that knew her knew how she loved to go shopping and buying clothes.
The one thing Deb loved and enjoy as much as her daughter Kristi was being a grandma to Leo and spoiling him every chance she got, Deb made such an impact on this world and she will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Deb is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Sally Peck; as well as her sister, Cheryl Aymond. She is survived by David Howarth; daughter, Kristi (Rey) Angulo; Grandson, Leonardo Angulo; Sisters: Denise Burdine and Colleen (Willy) Daniels; brothers: Craig Peck and Kevin (Tammy) Peck; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Wednesday April 29, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Memorial Lake View Mortuary 1640 East Lakeview Drive Bountiful, Utah. There will also be a celebration of life ceremony held at later time due to the COVID-19 virus restrictions.
