Deann Davis Turner

DeAnn Davis Turner, loving wife and best friend, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2017. She was born to Thomas and Jean Davis, in Abilene, Texas on April 19, 1954. She married Thomas Turner on March 21, 1987. Her beautiful heart quit on the day of the 33rd anniversary of the day she met Tom at Solitude Ski Resort.
DeAnn graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas in 1972. She also earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Texas in Austin. Where she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
DeAnn was a dedicated professional and devoted flight attendant who loved her job in the skies and the people she worked with. DeAnn was employed by Braniff Airlines at Love Field, in Dallas, Texas, she moved to Salt Lake City in 1982 to work for Western Airlines and finished her career with Delta Airlines in Salt Lake City.
DeAnn loved her family and enjoyed playing golf with them. She loved her little dogs; Missy, Chloe, and Maggie. She enjoyed walking on her layovers and at home. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to see all of the world that her heart desired.
DeAnn was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jean Davis. DeAnn is survived by her husband, Tom Turner, her brother Charles Thomas Davis, her nephews; Chuck and Jack, and many other friends, including her caregiver Yazmin and Yazmin’s four children; Rosie, Joseph, Jacob, and James, who DeAnn loved with all her heart.
Funeral Services for DeAnn will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:30 am at Memorial Mountain View, 3115 E. 7800 S., Cottonwood Heights, UT. A viewing will be held, at the same location, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and prior to the services from 10:30-11:30 am.
