Dayna Lyn Slater

Dayna Lyn Slater, age 35, passed away at her home in Bountiful, UT surrounded by her husband and children on Saturday October 22 at 9:40pm.  She was born on July 20, 1981 in Rexburg Idaho to Mont Howard and Maria Wheeler.  She is the 2nd of 8 siblings.  She attended Skyline High School in Idaho Falls and later received her bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho.  On August 24, 2001 she was joined in eternal matrimony with Brandon Slater, from Torrance California. Together they had four sons: Ethan, Alec, Jonah, and Lincoln.  Dayna was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and raised her children in the gospel.  She will always be remembered as an exemplary mother, wife, daughter, sister and latter day saint.  Services will be held at the LDS church located at 4275 S Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful, UT 84010 at 11 am on Saturday October 29th.
