David Wells Fife

David Wells Fife was born June 21, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away peacefully May 2, 2016. He served valiantly, in the U.S. Army, in Korea with the 653rd Observation Battalion of the 9th Corp. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and all of the people he met along the way. Married Lois Duncan 1953 (later divorced).
Preceded in death by his parents Richard A. Fife and Miriam V. Wells; brothers, Richard and Lee. Survived by his children, Randy (Kaelyn) Fife, Debbie (David) Schmutz, Jeff (Connie) Fife and Bradley Fife, as well as 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
We appreciate the love and care he was given by the staff at George E. Wahlen Veterans Home and Hearts for Hospice.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, from 6:00 to 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00pm with a viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow.
