David Mascarenas

David I. Mascarenas; brother, father, and uncle passed away to be with Jesus at home surrounded by loved ones on May 8, 2014. He was born on June 16, 1949 to parents, Abie and Lorraine Mascarenas in Alamosa, CO. He had two beautiful daughters, Tammy and Charlotte. One of Dave’s greatest accomplishment was becoming an ordained minister. He enjoyed sharing the gospel, fishing, bowling, and spending time with his family.
Dave’s family would like to give a very special “Thank You” to the Haven Hospice staff that gave such sincere loving care to him!
Survived by his: Sisters, Jeanette (Jerry) Adamson, Mickey (Manuel) Martinez; Brothers, Anthony Bahee, Elmer Martinez; Daughters, Tammy (Tony) Gortat, Charlotte (Bill) Thomsen; Grandchildren, Lance Gortat, Tyrone (Kate) Gortat, Jacob Thomsen, Tyson Thomsen; Great-grandchildren: Taylor Lee Wilson, Zachary Gortat, Daxton Gortat, and “baby” Gortat due in July; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84123.
