David Lee Williams

Obituary for David Lee Williams, Age 73.
 
David passed on August 5, 2022, in Sandy, Utah. He was born on January 27, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Don and Betty Williams.
 
He married Charlene Daley on June 11, 1982.
 
David loved anything about cars, motorcycles and Radio controlled Cars, drones and airplanes. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. His creative soul shined through his many at-home projects with woodwork. He worked for auto dealerships as a parts person He owned his own auto equipment service as well.
 
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlene Williams; His son, Gary Chamberlain (California); His daughter, Sandra Chamberlain-Curtis and her husband, Cliff Curtis (Utah); His step daughter, Rayna and her husband, David Kennedy (Utah); His step son, Chris Walters (Montana). He has 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Bonnie Cox, Bill Williams, Donna Anderson, Delane Mayhew, and Dennis Williams.
 
He is preceded in death by his father, Don Williams, and his mother Betty Lou Tingey-Williams.
 
A funeral will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM. It will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and cemetery on 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
