“DJ” David John Corona was born on August 6, 1974, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 25, 2017. DJ was best known for his charismatic personality, his sense of humor, and his signature dimples. DJ was passionate about physical fitness and achieved an International Sports Science Association (ISSA) Certification and a Business Technology Certification, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. He always started his day reading the Wall Street Journal and doing yoga, but always had time to show his love for the most important people in his life, his brother (Tom), his niece (Autumn), his mother and Grandma Corona.
DJ is survived by his parents Sonia and Gary; brother Tom; niece Autumn; “Little Grandma” Mary Corona and many aunts, uncles, cousins and his little Keeshond dog, Kitty. Preceded in death by his sister Lori Hemp, Grandpa James Corona and Grandparents Gene and Lorna Roy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Lake Hills Memorial on 10055 S. State St. for those who wish to pay their final respects. DJ was an advocate for children of abuse, so in lieu of flowers you may make a donation under DJ’s name to the Christmas Box House (thechristmasbox.org).Service Information
