David Clyde Ehninger

David Clyde Ehninger, age 81, died peacefully on March 28, 2023 in West Jordan, Utah.
He was born December 5, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Martin and Winona Ehninger.
Dave and Joyce were married on March 2, 1963 in the Manti Temple.
Dave was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served as Bishop, on the High Council, and Stake Executive Secretary.  He also loved working with the youth.
Dave worked for 44 years as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Litton Guidance and Control Industries.
He loved hunting, camping and fishing, especially when he could be with his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed biking, including the 150 mile bike trip he organized with his ward.  In his retirement he picked up his hobby of engraving.
Dave is survived by his wife, Joyce Ehninger, children Michael (Connie) Ehninger, Kris Ehninger, Stacy Ehninger, Becky (Jerry) Stewart, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers Ron Ehninger and Steve Ehninger and sister Sue Wood.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, 12:00 pm at the Garden Cove Ward Meeting House 8539 South, 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah 84088.  Friends and Family may visit Thursday, March 30, 6:00-8:00 pm. and Friday one hour prior to Funeral Services. Interment will be at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery.
Dave’s favorite saying was, “See you around the bend.”
