Darrell "D-Boy" N. Kapuwai, Jr.

Darrell N. Kapuwai, Jr., age 55, passed away on October 4, 2024 in Murray, Utah. He was born on December 13, 1968 in Kaneohe, Oahu to Darrell Kapuwai, Sr., and Gladys Lyman. He married Tafelala Fauga on February 14, 2000. 

Darrell is survived by his wife, Tafelala; four daughters, Jessica, Joyce, Destinee, and Jeneece; and three granddaughters, Kataleia, Oshen, and Kalena. 

He is preceded in death by his infant son Kaleo D-Boy Fauga-Kapuwai, his father Darrel Nohea Kapuwai, Sr., and his sister Sherry Ann Ku’uleialoha Kapuvvai. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pesega Ward, 4605 West Point Drive, West Valley City, Utah. The family service will begin at 10:00 AM, with the Bishop’s service following at 12:00 PM.
