Daniel Lee Malmborg, 65, of West Valley City Utah, passed away on February 7, 2025, at his home. Born on February 28, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of the late Reid and LuAnn Malmborg. 

Daniel was a very giving person. He loved working as a Cook and Mentor with FCYD Camp UTADA - Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes, where he also taught archery. He loved crafts, cooking, and growing aloe vera plants in his house. In his youth, he travelled and played with the Kearns High School Marching Band throughout the United States. In 1979 he served his mission in San Diego, CA. 

He is survived by his four siblings and their spouses, David Malmborg (Adela), Karry Malmborg (Beth), Debra Segura (Ron), and Diane Malmborg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and his grand-niece and grand-nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 3:30 pm at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84084. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 1:30-3:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
