Daniel “Dan” Warren Mitchell

Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend Daniel Warren “Dan” Mitchell, age 70, passed peacefully in West Valley City on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Born June 13, 1947 in Murray, Utah, to Warren Mitchell and Betty Taylor. On March 26, 1988, he married Donna Fisher Lamper. He took great pride in his trade as a union sheet metal worker.
Dan enjoyed his home, watching the hummingbirds in their flower gardens, and his family; most especially his grandchildren.
Survived by his daughter, Pam Winger; grandson, Billy Winger (Mikay); granddaughter, Whitney Neal (Gage); honorary grandson, Austin Shoell (Tiffany); one great grandson with a second on the way; sister Lee (Lee); and many nephews and nieces. Dan was preceded in death by his wife; Donna, parents, brothers; Gene, Lynn and Tom.
Seven weeks after losing his wife, missing her was too much. They were always together in life, as they should be now.
Respects can be paid during a Celebration of Life at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah on June 23, 2018, where friends may visit with family from 10:00am to 11:00 am prior to the service. A luncheon will follow.Service Information
