Dale Wallace

June 6, 1939 — March 23, 2021

Dale Leon Wallace passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Dale was born on June 6, 1939 to Kenneth and Afton Wallace. Dale spent all of his childhood in Murray, Utah. He loved Murray and could reference all the old buildings and people that lived there. After high school graduation Dale decided to join the US Army. He spent the next 32 years dedicating his life defending his country. He was very patriotic and made it a point to fly and honor the flag every time he could. He loved creating items out of wood and working in his garden. He had the ability to grow the most perfect vegetables and roses which he shared with his friends. This was a small example of how he cared for the many people he called friends. Dale had a deep love of family and enjoyed attending family parties. He enjoyed watching and interacting with all of his nieces and nephews who just adored their sweet Uncle.
He is preceded in death by his wife Anna Beth Blackhurst, parents Kenneth and Afton Wallace, brother-in-laws: William Kehl and Al Aguirre, nephew Jeff Hathaway, and niece Kristine Kehl.
Survived by sisters: Wanda Aguirre, Charla Erickson, and brother Jay (DeeAnn) Wallace, and many nieces and nephews.
Everyone loved and will miss Uncle Dale and the joy of patriotism he brought to the family. We would like to thank the staff of Canyon Home Health. Not only did they take care of Dale’s needs they became very good friends to him. There will be a graveside service, Saturday, April 3, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84123.
