Dale Smith

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Connie Dale Smith passed away Tuesday February 14, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born February 15, 1937 in Onterio Oregon. He joined the Navy January 12, 1956 and was honorably discharged October 5, 1962. He was the second son born to Donald James Smith and Pauline Olive Smith. He met his wife Gloria Smith at a dance in Salt Lake City Utah, got married in October 22, 1959. After that they added two daughters Connie and Dianna. He loved his family, and his brothers along with many nieces and nephews. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, bowl and spend time with his family and friends. He was on a bowling league with Gloria every year and was very social. He was loved and respected by many. He was a very gifted artist, engineer and draftsman, his work is still admired to this day.
C. Dale was proceeded in death by his wife Gloria, parents Donald and Pauline Smith, two brother’s Stanly Paul Smith and Steven Richard Smith. He is survived by his daughter’s Connie Gale Smith, Dianna (Alan) Allred, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Donald (Bettey) Smith. Numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A viewing will be held Saturday February 25th at 9:00-11:00 am at the memorial redwood Mortuary & cemetery 6500 South redwood road West Jordan. Graveside services will follow the viewing.
