Dale Henning

Our loving father, grandfather and friend, Dale N. Henning, age 80, passed away on December 26, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born in Snohomish County, Washington, August 26, 1934 to Clarence and Vera Layton Henning. Married Edith Brooks May 21, 1971.
Dale was a hard worker. His careers included fireman, police officer, barber and most recently as a security guard for Tooele Army Depot and Kennecott Mine Visitor’s Center. Dale enjoyed fishing, golfing and learning about aircraft. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy for 12 years.
Survived by his children, Sherry, Ralph (Nanette), Wayne (Rachael), Lynn (Elaine), Lynette, Cheryl and Mike (Debbie); 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Edith, parents and one grandchild, Amanda.
A graveside will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Redwood Memorial Cemetery with viewings from 6-8:00 pm on Tuesday evening and one hour prior to the graveside. Online condolences may be shared at www.redwoodmortuary.com
