Dale Arthur Kinder

Dale Arthur Kinder passed away July 02, 2019 after a brief, intense battle with lung cancer surrounded by loving family and friends. Born June 1, 1945 in Lehi, Utah to James Elmer Kinder and Florence Manning-Kinder. He began working for the Union Pacific at the age of 18 where he continued to rise through the ranks, retiring after 37 years as the Manager of Track Programs.
Dale lived a passionate life filled with many fantastically customized vehicles, larger than life experiences and one of a kind situations that brought together people across many walks of life and across many paths. He was a passionate mechanic that spent his retirement tinkering with his extended family at Sommers Auto Wrecking where he encountered even more new friends who came to appreciate his willingness to help out no matter what the automotive issue. His endless stories and sense of humor, quick-wittedness and the countless hours of service he gave unconditionally to others will forever be appreciated and missed. A complicated man, loved by many, leaves behind an adoring cadre of people who will continue to carry his essence in our hearts and memories.
Dale is survived by his wife Ralfie Kinder, his daughters, Jennie Kinder, Monica Lobato-Christensen, Grandchildren, Dominik, Angel, Andres, Kifanie, Ryanne, Victoria, Dale and Trini, along with several great-grandchildren . Brothers, Danny (Bella), Gary (Betty), and Sisters, Bernice Abeyta and Kayla (Ted) Yamaguchi, and extended Aguayo family. Preceded in death by his parents, Sons, Dale K. Kinder and Vincent Lobato, Brothers, Clarence and Gene Kinder.
Viewing will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 6-8pm. Family and friends may gather, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 11:30-12:30 with Funeral services to follow at 12:45 at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
