Daisy Landis Parker

Daisy Landis Parker born September 22, 1920, in Akron Ohio to Ward Everett and Mildred Wolford Landis, Passed away peacefully Friday, January 13, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents, life-long sweetheart husband, Charles, brother Lauren, grandson Aaron, and great granddaughter Shelli. Survived by her son Wade (Leslie), daughter Midge, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 0 great-great grandchildren.
She and Charles spent almost 63 years together enjoying traveling and helping others. Daisy was always interested in other people and kept contact with friends and neighbors long after moving to the next location. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a hobby of sequin-sewn projects which brightened many homes. Her great desire to help others was realized when she volunteered as a fifth grade classroom aide at Majestic Elementary School and continued for over 10 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and cared deeply about her family.
