Cynthia Browning

After a four-year battle with metastatic breast cancer, Cynthia Lee Walker Browning passed away surrounded by her family in Layton, Utah on December 22, 2018. Cynthia was born November 10, 1975 to Ronald Bruce Walker and Carole Bennett Walker.
Through her teen years she lived in Okinawa, Japan where she grew to love the beach. She graduated from LDS Business College in 1996 with a degree in accounting and has worked for Certified Fire Protection for the past nine years.
She is survived by her husband, who she married in the Jordan River Temple, as well as her four children and her mother. She was loved by them and anyone who met her. She is known for the light and goodness that she brought with her anywhere she went. Although her journey with cancer was hard, she spread joy around any room. Cynthia endured her cancer diagnosis with grace and strength, and smiled even to the end.
Services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel located at 60 West Gordon Avenue, Layton, UT. Viewings will be held one hour prior to funeral service, as well as from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening.
Instead of flowers, Cynthia has expressed that she would like donations sent to Huntsman Cancer Institute because of the great care they took of her and all of their patients. The family would like to dedicate these donations in Cynthia’s name and would like them to be designated to the breast cancer research wing. To donate please go to: www.give.huntsmancancer.org.
