Beloved Husband, Son and “Little Brother”
Curtis Linn Pickering, age 53, passed away December 22, 2013, from complications of Pulmonary Fibrosis Disease while waiting for a lung transplant. Born March 4, 1960 in Salt Lake City to Linn Oscar and Wilda Grace Dodge Pickering. Loving companion to Clyde Moore for 28 years; married October 30, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA.
Curtis distinguished himself in the grocery industry his entire career, from bagger to management. He was an avid boater and loved to water ski. He was passionate about his dogs, Ricky and Lucy and enjoyed traveling, gambling and just hanging out. Curtis was non-judgmental and a very good friend to everyone he met (especially the old ladies). He met everyone with a smile.
Curtis is survived by his husband and soulmate; children, Kenneth and Michael; grandchildren, Savannah and Christian; siblings, Linda, Janet (Doug), Tom (Carol), LaRaine (David), Noreen (Doug), Dennis (Kathy), Evan (Elona), and Kelly (Steve); many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elone.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.
