Our loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Curtis Max McCollin passed away peacefully, November 22, 2013 of congestive heart failure. He was surrounded by his family. Curt was born April 16, 1959 in Salt Lake City to Max D. and MarJean Willden McCollin. He enjoyed his interaction with people and places as a motor coach operator for LeBus. He liked fishing and playing poker with friends. He had a great sense of humor – you could never get a straight answer out of him! Curt had a gift with woodworking, creating the most amazing things for his family and friends. He was a generous and giving person, who was constantly thinking of others and giving random acts of kindness. We will all miss him greatly. Survived by his son, Curtis Guenther (Dannielle); future grandson, Carson; parents; siblings, Dennis (Teresa) Dutson, Cris Poynor (Lyle) Kump, Susan (Ed) Edwards; and many extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his brother, Bruce McCollin; grandparents, Earl and Una Wilden, Ralph McCollin and Dottie Ferrara. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 7th, 12:00 noon at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. with a viewing from 10:30 – 12:00 prior to services. The family wishes to thank IHC Hospice and “Nurse Bobbie” for the loving care they gave to Curt.
