Conrad Reed Fuller

January 2, 1932 — December 8, 2020

Conrad Reed Fuller, age 88 died on December 8, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on January 2, 1932 in St. George, Utah to Reed Fuller and Helen Susannah Pope. He married Marian Mackay on April 17, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Conrad owned and operated a variety of different businesses during his lifetime. He saw himself as a farmer, a rancher and a businessman. Farming was in his blood from his early days in southern Utah. We have memories of him on a tractor cultivating 300 acres of land in West Valley City in the 1970’s.   For much of his career he owned and operated a successful gas station/carwash in Salt Lake City. He sold that business and moved with his wife, Marian to Australia where they owned and operated a business inventing, manufacturing, and selling exercise equipment for 13 plus years. The people they associated with in Australia loved him and Marian and spoke fondly of them years after they had moved back to USA. Later he worked into his 80’s as a security guard for his stepson’s security business.
He held many positions at Ward and Stake Levels both in Utah and in Australia where he was a Bishop and in the Stake Presidency for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He faithfully discharged his ministering duties all his active life. His favorite hobbies were listening to faith promoting books and talks by religious leaders of the Church.
Conrad was a simple man who loved God, his country and his family.   He had the good fortune of being blessed with a wife of 46 years, who was a wonderful companion, and together they raised six children, Marian passed away in 1998. Conrad was extremely lonely after her death and shortly thereafter was blessed to meet and be remarried to another wonderful companion, Laura May Nelson who lovingly welcomed him into her family of 11 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Conrad is survived by his children and spouses: Douglas Conrad Fuller (Kathy Fuller); Bruce Allan Fuller (Donna Fuller) Kayleen Fuller; Cheryl Edvalson (David Edvalson) Glen Reed Fuller (Heather Fuller); and Dean Rex Fuller (Yumi Fuller) and his current wife Laura Fuller and his 11 stepchildren and their spouses, and a multitude of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Marian Mackay Fuller, his parents, and his older sister, Enid Faust.
