Conrad Hudson

Harry left this earth on December 21, 2013 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born the oldest of 5 children on February 24, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Art and Effie Hudson. Harry graduated from South High School and right after joined the US Air Force and served during the Korean War, 1952-1956. During the war he met and married Enid James, May 20, 1955 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He worked for 44 years with the Union Pacific Railroad as a Car Inspector and Cab Carpenter and was a Union Representative for Local 542 of U.P.R.R. for 24 years.
He loved bowling for the U.P. League, was a member of the Kearns Chamber of Commerce, U.P.R.R. Jr. Old Timers and was a board member of U.P.R.R. Credit Union. Harry was a leading volunteer with MADD of Utah and recently joined the American Legion. He loved to fish, spend time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and he was a member of the LDS Church.
He is survived by loving wife of 58 years; daughters: Debra Hudson and Carol (Troy) Smith; grandson, Nicholas (Annie) Oseguera; great grandchildren: Ava and Arthur and beloved pet Misty. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Janette and Mary and his beloved grandson, Christopher.
Friends and family may call Friday, December 27, 2013 from 6 pm to 8 pm and again one hour prior to the service at Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank Unified Fire, Paramedics and St. Mark’s Hospital staff for their tender and loving care.
