Colleen Mae Moore Holm Farnsworth

Colleen Farnsworth, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long, and wonderfully full life.
Colleen loved cooking, crochet, bowling, bingo, and a number of other diverse hobbies. She was an avid reader of books, especially mystery novels. She had a kind word on her lips, a loving twinkle in her eye for everyone that she met, was warm and welcoming to all, but especially passionate about her grandchildren.
Married to Frank I. Holm in 1946 at the age of 17, they had 7 children together before their divorce in 1970.
Remarried to Julius W. Farnsworth in 1970, the two remained married until his death in 1992.
In addition to Julius, Colleen was preceded in death by parents James William Moore and Verda Mae Jones Moore Pender, brother James R Moore, sons William A Holm, and Frank D. Holm, and her stepdaughter Kathryn Farnsworth.
She is survived by five children, her son Robert and wife Colleen Holm of Magna, Daughter Shirley and husband Robert Hill of Tooele, son Donald Holm of Taylorsville, daughter Linda and husband Jack Strickland of North Carolina, her daughter Lucy and husband Grant Walker of Tooele Utah, her Grandchildren Frank D. Holm Jr., Chad E. Holm, Gerry Holm, Janice Holm, Cassandra Holm, Niels Farnsworth, Darin Herder, James Holm, Anne’ Liswood, Robert Hill Jr., Mindy Hill, Chrissy Doty, Ian Brox, Heather Brox, Nathan Walker, Nikki Mitchell, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East in Murray Utah, Monday, February 3rd. The viewing will begin at 9:00 am, funeral service at 11:00, and burial at Redwood Memorial Cemetery in West Jordan following the service.
