Colleen was born in Park City, Utah on February 2, 1935 to Harold Collins and Blanche Giles Collins. Colleen passed peacefully at home amongst family on February 23, 2019.
Colleen married Dennis (Mac) McGuire on October 19, 1951. They had 42 happy years before Mac died in 1993. They raised three children – Cindy, Denny and Mark. She worked at OC Tanner for 25 years and retired in 1998.
She is survived by her two children, Cindy McGuire (Dave) and Denny (Paula) McGuire; sisters Wanda McDonald, Janette Petersen, Valerie (Jim) Cochran; sister-in-law Connie Collins; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter and a loving extended family. Preceding her in death, husband Dennis (Mac) McGuire and son Mark McGuire. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S. State St., Sandy, UT.Service Information
