Cobey Judd

October 5, 1999 — November 19, 2015

Our beloved son, Cobey Alec Judd passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cobey was born on October 5, 1999 to Shawn and Penny Motes Judd of Salt Lake. We are so proud and blessed to have had him in our lives for 16 short years. We forever cherish each and every memory of him. Cobey was a loving son, brother, grandson, and cousin. He was a quiet young man with deep blue eyes and thick brown hair. Cobey was an exceptional student in Junior High, receiving numerous high honor roll awards. He enjoyed art, reading, video games, hiking, fishing and music. Cobey also loved playing airsoft with his father, cousins, and friends. We loved our family holiday time spent at Aunt Deena and Uncle Jimmy’s home. Cobey spent many of his summers in Georgia with his grandparents, Curtis and Becky Motes. He also enjoyed time on the lake at his great Uncle Ray’s house where he was surrounded by more aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his parents Penny and Shawn Judd, and sister Katelyn; grandparents Becky and Curtis Motes, Ruth Ann Charlesworth-Phillips, and grandfather Dennis Judd; aunts Pamela Baskin (Greg), Nicole Judd, and Deena Ericksen (Jimmy); cousins Cody, Hunter and Matt Ericksen, and cousins Tammy Howell and Rebecca Baskin, along with many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cobey’s time with us was cut far too short. We love you our handsome young man and know you are at peace now. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a go fund me account titled In Memory of Cobey Judd. Viewing will be held at Redwood Memorial Park, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, on Monday, November 23, 2015 6-8:00 pm. Graveside Service at Redwood Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
