Claudia Mariano Kilcrease Garlick

It is with heavy hearts that we must let go of our beloved Claudia way too soon. After a long battle with cancer, Claudia slipped away from us on Monday evening, May 8th, surrounded by her family.
She leaves behind her husband Bryan and son Phillip.  Claudia will be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters and their families, and was proud to be considered such by Bryan’s children and their families. Her heart will forever be bound to her roots in Idaho.
What word best describes Claudia? Fierce, kind, compassionate, brave, tireless, loving—the list is endless, as was her desire to care for everyone.  A shining example of this was her dedication to the people she cared for as a CNA.  They were an extension of Claudia, and she loved them all.
Family meant everything to Claudia.  She was truly our heart and soul.  We all counted on her to keep us close.  Through the years, we each remember a time when Claudia was at our door daily.  We will always cherish those times and be grateful for the laughs, love and memories she gave us.
Thank all of you for your kind words and emotional support as Claudia braved this courageous fight. We are hoping she finds peace and comfort in the arms of her loved ones who have called her home.
Please join us to celebrate her life.  A viewing will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
